DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION
The Special Education Director oversees the special education program and develops procedures that are compliant with IDEA and MDE policies.

SPECIAL EDUCATION COODINATOR
The special education coordinator supports special education teachers with essential special program needs.

DUE PROCESS SPECIALIST
The due process specialist supports with completing special education evaluations, IEPs, and other due process needs.

NEW TEACHER MENTOR
This coaching support is available for new special education teachers and it helps them to write Individualized Education Program (IEPs), evaluation reports, and IEP progress reports.

SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
The speech therapist teaches students proper techniques to improve communication
skills. The speech therapist also evaluates students with communication
concerns and they support the IEP plan for students.

SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST
The school psychologist conducts psychological assessments to determine eligibility for special education services. The school psychologist also conducts functional behavior assessments.
